E-Sports

E-Sports is a form of sport where the main aspects are done via computers. It most commonly takes the form of organized multiplayer video game contests, particularly between professional players(5). Some of the games used in E-Sports are League Of  Legends, DOTA 2, Counter-Strike, Starcraft II, Hearthstone, and Super smash Bros. These games are popular in E-Sports because they have large followings on their own and are easy to spectate and understand. This means a new person who is interested can have just a simple explanation before picking up what is going on, making it more accessible to a larger amount of people.
